Wai Lana’s Alive Forever music video receives over 1 million views days after being released
Wai Lana’s new Alive Forever short film has already been viewed online over 1 million times within just days of its release for this year’s International Day of Yoga on June 21st. This puts it on par with her popular Namaste song, which has been viewed or heard over 4 million times online since its release on Yoga Day in June 2015.
Here is just a sample of the overwhelmingly positive feedback Wai Lana has received so far:
“I've become alive again by hearing this beautiful song...thanks from the bottom of my heart”
“Touching...soulful...lovely”
“Thank you for this! I was feeling sad today and this picked me up!”
Alive Forever also received some very positive feedback from people in the music industry:
“Beautiful song and a very well-shot video/film. Excellent work all around! I have a feeling lots of people will like this!” – Mike Savage, host of internationally-syndicated World Chart Show.
“This is a truly inspirational, gorgeous and cinematic music video. Excellent work!” – Bob Lugowe, Director of Promotions/Publicity at Relapse Records and Co-Founder of Brutal Panda Records.
Alive Forever is a unique cinematic expression that captures the feelings of anxiety, fear, and sadness that accompany the aging of one’s physical body, as one’s youthful beauty and vigour begin to fade. By the end of this transformational short film, the featured characters are relieved of their anxieties and enlightened by the profound yoga wisdom conveyed by Wai Lana’s soothing lyrics. The lyrics beautifully express the ancient wisdom that although my body is getting older, I, the true-self, am ever youthful. And although my body will die, I, the true self, will not die.
In an epiphany of music and heart-warming visuals, Alive Forever relieves the fear, anxiety, and sadness associated with aging, replacing them with joy and hope, as the characters realize one by one that the true self is not the aging physical body, will not die when the body dies, and is forever young.
According to Wai Lana, “Understanding this profound truth, we can live in peace and happiness. There is no need to be sad as our body ages, rather we should feel very blessed to know this priceless jewel of wisdom.”

Lyrics: ALIVE FOREVER By Wai Lana
Looking in the mirror every day
I frown I stress and I worry
Oh time you have no mercy
You wilt my body, you sadden my heart
Nothing can make me young again
More wrinkles lining my face
Hair turning grey
But the soul remains un-changed
Aham Bramasmi
Aham Bramasmi
Aham Bramasmi
Don’t be afraid of getting old
The true self is ever youthful
And everlasting
Knowing I am not the body
I am at ease
Praise for my looks I do not need
Living my life with true meaning
Knowing that I am spirit soul
I glide through life with inner peace
In time my body will cease to be
Mother earth herself will also age
There is no cause for worry
Eternal we hold pure love in our hearts
So happy to know life has no end
Calm is my mind and at peace
My Lord's love shines everywhere
Alive forever I the soul will be
Aham Bramasmi
Aham Bramasmi
Aham Bramasmi
Aham Bramasmi
Aham Bramasmi
Aham Bramasmi
Aham Bramasmi
Aham Bramasmi
